The official description says the experience is participating in The Hollow, alongside update 1.5 dated October 15, 2026. The brew is a cauldron just inside the front entrance, past the turnstiles. A tracker over the pot has three counters. You need six of each, 18 candies total:
- Six candy corns.
- Six wrapped purple candies.
- Six red-and-white candy canes.
Extra pieces of a type that is already at six are rejected. Eating a candy does not fill the pot. Equip it and press G while you stand on the cauldron. Left-click consumes it. Red-and-white candies have been used as an emergency heal, which will also put you short of six.
Where candies come from
| Source | When | Catch |
|---|---|---|
| Pumpkin chests | Night only. They stay locked in daylight | Up to three candies. Opening one can alert nearby employees |
| Graveyard coffins | Day or night | Lift the lid. Some graves drop into a room with three chests |
| Defeated employees | Night | Not a guaranteed drop |
Scout chests while it is still day, especially near the blue pillar in the center corridor, behind the weapons cabinet, in the play area, in the toiletries aisle, and in the graveyard at the back. Open them after dark, or strip coffins before dusk. A weapon plus a flashlight is the usual carry. Drop candies at the pot as you go so the hotbar can hold food.
Stir, then check the hub
When every counter reads six, hold E to stir. The animation is about ten seconds. Do it in daylight so a patrol does not cancel you. Finishing grants The Hollow - A Tasty Brew badge. The same completion is reported to pay Hollow tickets and an infinite-ammo Pumpkin Slingshot. Most writeups say 20 tickets. One creator note said 40. Check the Hollow hub from the menu for the number you actually received. Ticket and slingshot rewards are event loot, not a permanent gamepass.
